POGEY has been nominated and will showcase at the 2011 Molson Nova Scotia Music Awards to be held in Yarmouth from November 3-6. The nomination is for Roots Recording of the Year. The showcase performance will take place November 4th at Rudder's RBC Stage from 9 pm - 9:30 pm. We look forward to the event!

Here is an amazing hand drawing by Montreal artist Geoff Marshall for the Pembroke Waterfront Festival set to take place August 4-6. You'll see some of the POGEY guys along with Sam Roberts and 2 other East Coast acts: Ashley MacIssac and Matt Anderson. This will be on a highway billboard around Pembroke and Ottawa near the end of July.

Check out this massive billboard promotional piece that will be up in the streets of Grande Prairie, Alberta this week! POGEY will perform with Spirit of the West on Friday July 22nd in the Northern Alberta city! Other Nova Scotia acts include Andrea Beaton and Jimmy Rankin on Saturday July 23.

POGEY is nominated for Roots / Traditional Group Recording of the Year at Canada's 2011 East Coast Music Awards. Canadian fans can call or email their local radio stations to request POGEY and mention the nomination. (Just letting you know :))
The tour schedule will be updated shortly with a series of festival and concert dates booked in Canada and the US. The dates range from May to October!

June festivals in Lincoln NE
(International Fest) and Kansas City MO (Browne's Fair) were
rocking to the end! We were joined on stage by one of KC's
best Irish Dancers Bridgid Driscoll. She will be back for
the KC Irish Fest Main Stage shows in September. This trip
also included an appearance on FOX 4 in KC.
In July POGEY closed the
Saturday night performance at the Colorado Irish Fest. Other
Atlantic Canadian acts included Natalie MacMaster and Ennis.
The highlight was having Maureen & Karen Ennis joined us on
stage during the show. Amazing Ladies!

This week we return to close
the Kansas City Irish Festival on Saturday night! Oh Boy!!
The festival requested a video post card.
We are still in designing mode
